Alex Labat is an award winning former television broadcast news anchor, producer and reporter turned Twitch Partner (twitch.tv/Labat) and TikTok LIVE Creator. A lifelong Louisiana resident, Labat worked for KATC TV 3, the ABC affiliate in Lafayette, Louisiana for a number of years. Labat (otherwise known as Alex Labat or SNLabat) is an Internet Personality and Twitch Partner. A husband and father, he’s also the SEO Director for Burning Stick Creative. He’s also authored an autobiographical book, written and produced original music albums, hosts a podcast and more. Labat is also an Associated Press award winning former news presenter during his tenure at KATC TV 3, the ABC News affiliate in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Labat became a Twitch Partner on July 22nd, 2022. Labat began streaming on Twitch on June 5, 2020. Labat’s first stream was Super Mario 64 and he would play a variety of different games until being accepted into the whitelisted NoPixel roleplay server on April 9, 2021. It was on April 9, 2021 that Labat introduced the character of Maximilian Delicious (Mr. Delicious) and his streams have mainly focused on roleplaying this FiveM modded Grand Theft Auto V roleplay server while still engaging with his chat and community with interactive games enabled through services like Crowd Control.

On October 1, 2022, Labat released three albums simultaneously. The first, an EP entitled Sequence, sets the stage for the two albums that followed. A minimalistic synthwave album, the follow up would be Compose Yourself (Original Soundtrack for TV, Trailers & Motion Pictures). Featuring orchestral melodies intertwined with electronic beats, this album leads into Labat’s third release, The Semantic Web. Labat’s favorite track on this album is “Relax”, a chill electronic beat reminiscent of early hip-hop.

Launched in 2016, Labat is a self-titled podcast that was once called ALEXplains It All. Hosted by Labat and SubtlePlays, the podcast touches on a wide variety of topics, ranging from pop culture to comic books. The podcast went on hiatus at the end of 2016 but is expected to return.
Backstory
Labat’s full legal name is Alex Michael Labat (born February 16, 1988). Best known as an Internet Personality and Twitch Partner who roleplays the character Maximilian Delicious (Mr. Delicious) on the popular Grand Theft Auto roleplaying server NoPixel. He has previously worked as a news anchor, producer and reporter at KATC Communications.

News Presenter (2010s)
Labat began working at KATC TV 3, the ABC News affiliate in Lafayette, Louisiana in May of 2011. He would work his way from behind-the-scenes in the production department, where he operated the studio cameras and on-air graphics, to in front of the camera as a multimedia journalist, news reporter, news producer and news presenter. Labat went on to win numerous awards for his work with KATC, but most notably he was awarded the “Reporter of the Year” award by the Associated Press.

Labat graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in December of 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a Concentration in Broadcasting and a Minor in English.
